Standard dimensions are 75 feet in total length, 8 feet 6 inches in total width and 13 feet 6 inches in total height. You will be considered oversize (over dimensional) if your total dimensions exceed those just mentioned. Please note that the turnaround time to issue oversize permits can be longer because they require the government agencies to analyze the permit application we will send on your behalf.
Standard weight in the United States is anything 80 000 lbs or less. In Canada, whether or not you need an overweight permit for your trucks depends on the province/state you will be crossing and on many other different variables like axle spreads, specific axle weights, tire size, etc. This is why it is important to include as much details as possible when you fill out our online application. Again, please note that because they take longer to analyze, overweight permits have a longer turnaround time.
